Author: dragonkicks

The Nike Air force 1 shoes are extremely popular these days, when it was designed in 1986, six basketball players were chosen to be the spokesmen of Air force one. Till now, the Air force 1shoes are still loved by many fans, they are just crazy about it. Air force 1 is just an amazing classic work.

Nike Airforce 1 shoes, also called Airforce Ones, are very popular leather cross trainers available as both high tops and low tops. It was actually fun waiting for images of each shoe from the Five Boroughs Air Force 1 Pack to surface. You've already seen the Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn Air Force 1. In fact, they were immortalized in a song by Nelly, a rapper from St. Louis. While these are not golf shoes, you can certainly wear them on the course if you choose.

Nike Air Force 1s were originally considered the favored shoe of inner-city youth, then hip hop artists and streetball players. Rapper Nelly & Salvador and his group, St. Lunatics, collaborated on a 2002 single entitled "Air Force Ones" about the shoes. As a performance shoe, the AF1 is still used for street play as well as for professional play. NBA players Jerry Stackhouse (who now wears Adidas) and Rasheed Wallace have worn AF1s on court.

Today you get you check out the Staten Island Air Force 1. The Staten Island Air Force 1 features a navy blue/orange/white colorway. Bruce Kilgore invented the line in 1982, with the first shoes being basketball shoes that featured a white upper with a Velcro strap across the ankle for a tight fit. Since their inception, these shoes have been a favorite of many in the hip-hop community.

The DJ Clark Kent designed AF1 Pack is officially set to release this Saturday, July 31st, but the shoes are available now at some retailers. Retail is $135. Stay tuned for the back story about the AF1 Five Boroughs Pack. Which Air Force 1 from the pack is your favorite?

In 2007, for the 25th anniversary of the original Air Force 1, Nike created the Air Force XXV, which got its inspiration from original Air Force 1 invented in 1982. A commercial for the Air Force XXV included LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Shawn Marion, Rasheed Wallace, Tony Parker, Jermaine O'Neal, Amar'e Stoudemire, Chris Paul, and Paul Pierce, featuring the music of Juelz Santana (the Second Coming). Since its introduction, many different Air Force 1s have been designed or inspired by celebrities and athletes.

Air force 1, just like its name, are a symbol of freedom and sky, that's why we love it so much. With a pair of air force one shoes, we are exactly flying in the court.
